Our 22 year old daughter has Autoimmune Encephalitis. She has or has had the intrusive thoughts, eating disorder, abrupt onset OCD, enuresis, panic attacks, sensory issues, agoraphobia, sound sensitivity. She also has hypothyroidism, POTS, Raynauds and MCAS. She's been flip flopping being positive and negative for strep and mycoplasma. She's been positive for heavy metals and mycotoxins. She has been hospitalized twice in one year with colitis. I am totally convinced that these infections are mostly being spread through the childhood v@xes. I have found articles indicating that the some of the v@xes have strep and mycoplasma in them. Our daughter is getting IVIG treatments now. We're praying this works. This video was very informative. Here because strep throat (or what I thought was a cold) triggered guttate psoriasis in me for nearly 4 weeks. This is an autoimmune reaction, or in other words, my worst nightmare. It only improved with the application of Zyrtec (x2, a.m.), Benadryl (x3, p.m.) and Palmer's 'Raw Shea Formula' Body Lotion applied after frequent lukewarm baths. Not an advertisement; more like a public service announcement. Prescription ointments & expensive purpose-formulated lotions were not quite good enough for the problem. I had a worker in a health food store advise me to STRENGTHEN my immune system to combat this problem 🙄. Worst advice ever. Did not take the advice. So if a doc tested for just the presence of Strep in the blood and throat and the results were both negative, the Cunningham panel will look for additional antibodies that may still indicate the disorder?
